15 Capturing Candid moments of Comedy Wildlife Photography


Comedy Wildlife photography is an art of capturing various animals in their candid moments. It is a tough task to get the animals in their natural environment. It is about the business getting into natural habitat. The wildlife photography now is in different categories and the Awards for the comedy wildlife photography has now a special place. It was found in 2017 by Tom Sullan and Paul Joynson-Hicks.

The aim of conducting the comedy wildlife photography is to raise funds to conserve the Orangutans. They will donate 10% to the charity from the total net revenue.This wildlife photography award is same as all other awards. The 2021 finalists list was topped by a cute snake that had its mouth open showing a laughing expression. It was captured by Aditya Khsirsagar. Besides the laughing snake, there were a host of entries making to the final list of 2021 of Comedy wildlife photography.

Taking comedy wildlife photography is a wildlife passion and it presents decades of experience working and living in different places. Wildlife photography is a genre that is concerned with various wildlife forms documenting in their natural habitat. It requires photography skills and craft skills to get different species photographing. It also involves stalking skills or the use of a blind to conceal and to capture candid moments. The laughing vine snake photo is hilarious, besides a monkey and a dragonfly looking like he does not regret wearing a groin protection.

There are around 42 photographs selected in the finalists and was narrowed from a huge submission of 7000 photographs from all over the world. Among the top 42 finalists, only 11 were presented in the gallery and the winners were announced on 22 October, 2021.

Using a little laughter is better for lives and doing so with some cute activities of the animals is wonderful. The array of images of the animals is charming. It shows how lively and lovable they are. The animal kingdom has nothing to be conscious of and this makes them more adorable. Soaking up in the joy of comedy wildlife photography means so much to see and enjoy. A baby seal giggling to a tiger lifting a log or a grumpy bird looking, all these photographs present a testament of each photographer’s skill.

Comedy wildlife photography involves capturing the behaviors of animals when they do something unusual. It means there is a need for tons of patience and sound technical skill. In fact, some photographers cultivate trust with the animals for years by following them. Chosen photographs display animals from Africa to the Caribbean to Brazil. The great image includes a
penguins group enjoying in the Falkland Islands a surfing session to a Ninja prairie dog scaring a bald eagle.

A yawning baboon enjoying relaxing moments was clicked by Clemence Guinard. A blue grasshopper appears to smile was a photo by Axel Bocker. A grey seal yawning looks relaxed and tries to shake off the sleepy feel while the waves kiss its back gently. This picture shows the patience of the photographer who waited for hours to get this photograph.

There are many such comedy wildlife photographs that reveal the difficulty of capturing such candid moments. The fact is undeniable that all the photography looks beautiful and brings a smile to your lips.
