Yago Partal, born in 1982, in Barcelona wished to dedicate his life to creativity. His childhood big part was towards drawing encyclopedias and blogs of fauna. He spent a few years in painting and drawing academy between the years 1990-1998 and earned a diploma with high school. He had his focus on Arts and started at the University of Barcelona Fine Arts. Yago Partal is a designer, artist and future Zoologist. His Funny Photo Manipulation artworks created empathy between animals and humans, and reminded what was in common.

Yago makes his images through a combination of illustration, photography, and collage, inspired by childhood cartoons such as Road Runner or Mickey Mouse, where animals behaved like humans. Yago returned to study his passion, zoology, in the University. Now, he is a Creative Director for People vs. Extinction, a charity dedicated to wildlife protection.

Yago is passionate about animals and creating images. As a child he spends hours on fauna that he received as a present form his parents. His entertainment was the encyclopedia twelve volumes in his childhood. This led him get engrossed into TV series, animal books, and drawing. He found this as an unconscious and powerful tool as he had no friends. It worked as the right way to escape.

With time, Yago Partal got to know that he had a tumor on his spine and it stole his adolescence. He started concentrating more on building and advancing himself as an individual, so that he can keep away from the tormenting monsters. He always found an escape through his creativity and it was the way to expression. However, his backbone was painting, drawing, music or photography that supported his passion. Everything got better from this point.

Yago Partal studies fine arts and artistic baccalaureate, and founded his graphic design first company. He was a self-taught photographer. He began working and creating images. He also tried creating music videos, but it was exhausting and fun.

In the meantime, the animal portraits Zoo Portraits series emerged. His constancy in networks or luck or both, the entire series went viral. It came in print and was overwhelming. He had great passion towards animals and started a careen to major in zoology in environmental biology.
